My next show is at SMALL, a showroom connected to Co Prosperity Sphere in Bridgeport, Chicago. I’ll be displaying my paintings and T-shirts along with limited edition prints of my my paintings.
The opening is this Friday, May 4th from 5-9pm

APRIL 12, 2012 (BERWYN, IL) — 22, a design studio and multi-use creative space in Berwyn, is proud to announce its fourth gallery exhibit, The T-Shirt Show. The exhibit will include unique T-shirt designs from twenty different artists and designers. The show will be on display at 22 from April 21 to May 8, with an opening reception on Friday, April 20 at 6pm. Almost all of the shirts will be available for sale during the exhibit’s duration.
The T-Shirt Show features work from twenty different artists and designers, from the Chicago area and across the country. The idea of the show is to turn 22 into a hybrid clothing boutique and gallery environment. The T-shirts will be displayed in a style similar to works of art, yet they will be available for sale at the discretion of the participating artists. Some shirts will be unique one-of-a-kind pieces, others will be available in multiples, and others will be somewhere in between. In this way, the exhibit attempts to look at the idea of the limited edition and the identity of the art object, as visitors to the gallery can potentially walk away with a relatively cheap work of art in the form of a wearable T-shirt.
PALMFLOWER will be playing our first show of ten years tomorrow nite, Feb 10th, 2012.
